The location was perfect for visiting family. The facilities were minimal but just what we needed - extremely comfy bed, private toilet and shower, excellent aircon and fan, a few chairs and a table. We didn't use the TV or the kettle. There is a small communal kitchen down the hall if needed. We liked that after initial check-in we were able to use a private entrance separate from the restaurant below. Didn't get a chance to sample the restaurant food - maybe next time.

Everything was great value for money facilities were very clean and easy to access rooms were decent size and the beds were very comfortable.

The room was adequate. It was clean and there was extra towels which was good. There is also soap and body wash in the shower, just in case you forgot yours.

We arrived later than we expected. The man helped us with our bags as we had to go up a few short flights of stairs. He was very helpful and friendly. In the morning another man helped us again with our luggage and a staff member offered for us to leave our luggage if we wanted to go for breakfast anywhere. Very nice staff and a nice clean room.

We booked two rooms in advance, to our delight we had two rooms next to each other. One with a ensuite and other without. Great for the price with easy check in. Loved that it felt secure with code entry to enter the accommodation from the tavern or the car park entrance. Air con was cool, mixed reviews on the pillows but we slept well. Tavern was closed when we came back to sleep, was quiet and we had a place to rest our heads

No breakfast location great easy to get to from broadmeadow train station shopping centre close easy to get around staff at pub friendly helpful Camille on phone very helpful couldn't be more helpful room spotless carpet bathrooms clean and afew so no waiting very quiet food great rump steak cooked to perfection female at bistro super friendly stayed in pubs all across NSW from cowra to bega etc but this one is in top 3 if not the best I've stayed at highly recommended

The staff are great! and very accomodating.I find the bed bit stiff but maybe that is just for me.The towels are clean and give u fresh ones the next day.

Clean, comfortable & exactly what we needed for our overnight stay..and the location is perfect...walking distance to Newcastle Entertainment Centre & McDonald Jones Stadium..this was our first stay & we have 2 other bookings for events & shows later in the year

Great value for money room was very clean and wonderful breeze throughput the room. Lunch at the bistro was fantastic and very tasty.
